Baby J (future hockey baby) | Guelph newborn photographer

I got to cuddle baby J on Tuesday. At all of 8 days old he was wide awake and already stretching his muscles in preparation for his hockey career (which made curly sleepy shots quite a task to get, but get some we did! :) ). It was a pleasure to capture his sweetness.

And a pair of the cutest squishy lips to round it off

The S family | Kitchener-Waterloo Family Photographer

A sneak peek for the S family that braved the cold weather (-8C with snow!) to let me capture their gorgeousness. There will be more to follow but I just couldn’t wait to share this one of their beautiful family.

A Christmas treat

No, not of the edible kind, but we did have loads of those too :D As I said in my Life Stories post, my family and I had the absolute pleasure of spending Christmas with my sister and her family. We haven’t seen each other in many years (due to being in different corners of the world for most of that time) and to say that we all had a fantastic time would be a huge understatement.

Whenever I capture memories for clients, it makes me feel happy to know that I captured a moment in time for them that they will love and look back on for years to come. While editing these photos I had the silliest smile on my face the entire time, realizing that it would not only be my sister cherishing these pictures, but that I too would hold these pictures dear for years to come. (Yes, yes.. the penny is slow in dropping sometimes :) ) It was an honour to capture the happiness and love that they share as a family.

Ok I’ll stop talking now and let you see the pictures.

Aren’t they a gorgeous family?!
